A.A.H. (Abandon All Hope) Pinning System - Side Control Knee on Belly > Back Control > Turtle Breakdown to Crucifix
7m 10s
In this video, we look at a second potential chain of pins, starting from Side Control, transitioning to Knee on Belly, and then potentially getting the back control if our opponent runs away - some practitioners will now seek to run to turtle, especially if they're happy to initiate a scramble or are comfortable in positions like babybridge - finally ending up in a crucifix position, with a clear shot at the Assassin Choke! Again, emphasis is placed on slowing down our opponent's movement with strategic use of grips that restrict their movements, without giving them a chance to gripfight.

In this video, we look at one of my most successful backtakes, along with a back control to Crucifix trap - I've had great success implementing both of these options against fellow black belts; both options are typically unexpected by opponents if they've never encountered them before!
