In this video, we'll be looking at a versatile grip referred to by some as "Fist over Wrist". This grip is essentially a kimura trap grip on steroids, enhancing control and pressure in various submissions like the Americana, Kimura and toehold, but also lends power to defeating armbar defences. It is particularly effective in controlling opponents and applying pressure without straining your wrists - this is now one of my most commonly used controls, especially as everything hurts.
