In this video, we will look at the Choi Bar, an armbar variation that can be set up from the Omoplata position. When the opponent postures up during an Omoplata, we can transition by underhooking their arm, adjusting our hip position, and using our shin against their armpit and ribs for leverage. By maintaining a tight grip on their arm and hooking our feet around their body, we prevent their escape and find the correct angle to apply pressure for the submission.
